Summer Popsicle Window at Urbanic

I’m so excited to finally be able to share with you the pictures of our summer popsicle window here at the shop.  Our ever talented Melody Hansen came up with this creative idea and even figured out the mechanics of the install. (?!?!) She dreamt up the plan and gathered some images online. Oh Happy Day was a great source of inspiration! Together Mel and our crafty Cecily hand-made each one of these huge piñatas with the sweetest attention to detail. My job was to dip hundreds of popsicle sticks into paints in preparation to be drilled and  hung as a cascading back drop around the pops. My backyard, literally had 2 clothes’ lines full of revolving sticks. It was crazy, but admittedly  it was therapeutic.

Once we got both of the windows installed, we placed some treat inspired product and then (of course) celebrated with popsicles.
