2014 print | Urbanic

As many of you already know, we send out a little New Year’s print to friends and colleagues of Urbanic every year. Our goal is to make it more of a little art print than a card so it can become inspiration board worthy. This year we ran into some unfortunate printing problems with card and I almost cancelled the whole project multiple times as it was getting so late in the month. But THEN, I thought about it, and decided it’s *always* fun to get good mail! – and an inspiring little bulletin board print at that! So I swallowed my timeline etiquette pride and sent out these little beauties anyway.  As always, I’ve printed extras for you all if you should want one.  We’re sending them out complimentary (first come first serve) to anyone that writes in.  Just send us a buck for the shipping and we’ll pop one in the mail your way! They’ll be included in all web orders as well. You can snag your print in our pop-up shop here.

I love how they came out this year! We had the talented Sarah from Parrot Design Studio hand letter them for us and she definitely captured the brush strokes I was hoping for perfectly.  BTW – If you’re curious, you can check out our cards from 2013 and 2012 at these links.

Wrapping Up a Holiday Season post image

100-Layer-Gift-Wrap-54

Today being the last day of 2013 I’m finally getting a chance to relax and reflect on the last few weeks.  I feel thankful that this holiday season at the shop was bustling, privileged to work with so many creative and talented people, and grateful for such an amazing team at Urbanic.  We wrapped our hearts out this season, prettying up gifts for our local Los Angeles Community and for some special projects as well.  First up is our wrap party with the 100 Layer Cake girls. – It was full of all the glitz and glam you could imagine!  – be sure to check out the full post here.
